    DogWatch Cigar Radio #264 -

Cigar of the Week - Jameson Declaration. The Declaration features an aged Habano ’98 wrapper paired with a Criollo ’98 binder and select filler tobaccos from the prime growing regions of the Dominican Republic. The unabashed enthusiast can expect deep, bold flavors and a memorable, medium-full bodied smoking experience. Tonight we are smoking the Iniquity (5.5x50).  Brad Mayo from Jameson Cigars gives a  short interview about the Declaration.

New video from Gary Arzt -  Gary interviews the Quesada family. Many of you may remember that several members of the family including the patriarch and oldest son were killed about three years ago in a plane crash. Since then the family has battled to keep the company going in the face of their loss. This video is a testament to their strength, courage and fortitude in making Quesada stronger today.

Dark Side - Saint Luis Rey Pacificos RE 2009 - A 52 x 156 (6.1") Pyramid - Saint Luis Rey is a pre-revolution brand established circa 1940.  It is a Habanos local brand with a minor market share.  Full strength cigars using a blend of tobaccos from the Vuelta Abajo and the Semi Vuelta regions.  There is a non-Cuban brand with the same name.

What else have you been smokin' Bob?

Kristoff Corojo Maduro -The Kristoff is made with double fermented tobaccos from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Brazilian wrapper on the Maduro, the unfinished foot gives these cigars a dramatic appearance. Chewy, leathery with a clean finish. The strength becomes much more noticeable near the middle of the cigar. Difficult to get smoke out of this stick and the ash is very crumbly.

Illusione Cuchillos Cubana - One of the few mixed filler cigars I can stand to smoke. 0/40 blend of long and medium filler tobacco. Cigars are hand-made, double binded and finished with a grade A wrapper. These cigars are the perfect complement to the morning espresso ritual or an after lunch luxury.

Whats My Band - Davidoff's Winston Churchill Blenheim from Dirty Dee. Thanks to Deveco Bridges for this week's unbanded selection.

Music provided by 25 Smokin' Figurados and The Surfonics.  25 Smokin Fugurados is working on a new album for release very soon.  Watch for it!
