You asked for it and here it is! Shows 1 - 5 are now available in the 2005 archives. This is just a small part of the renovations we have undertaken at the web site to make it more user friendly so please, stop by the site and check out what's new - like the latest column from Gary Arzt , the guest article section, and a new episode from Cigars One To One featuring Kevin Edmiston the owner of Winston's Humidor. We just added a news article from our on location reporter about some of the events happening at PROCigar in the Dominican Republic and a host of new photos from there on a brand new photo page.

Herfline contribution fr4om Angry Bill.
What else have you been smokin' Dale?-
La Aurora Maduro Robusto - (in addition to Bob's notes...)The Maduro line extention was released in 2001 and adds a nice richness to the blend. Some Cameroon is used along with the Dominican filler to help maintain that signature La Aurora character. Packaged in traditional dress boxes of 25 cigars, the Maduro line continues the tradition of a great smoke at a good value that La Aurora has always provided.
El Triunfador Lancero - 7 1/2" x 38 ring with a dark Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over all Nicaraguan filler & binder. Made for Pete Johnson at the My Father factory in nica, these are simply packaged in a vertical natural cedar slide top box. The cigars are bound in a ribbon, wrapped in tissue then placed upright in the box. The box is padded inside, top & bottom to protect the foot and the pigtail cap. The cigars have that rustic fuma look that PJ really likes. It's a rich, complex cigar, med-full bodied and highlights flavors of cocoa, coffee, dark fruit and sharp pepper in the last half.
Rocky Patel Puro Cubano - Harsh, strong and acidic......
Esteban Carreras 187 - One of the best new cigars I've smoked in several months! For me, the perfect balance of spice, sweetness and well fermented Nicaraguan tobacco taste! A Nica Puro made in Nica, it might be compared to the Cain Maduro, but with more vanilla sweetness & a touch less strength, yet has plenty of that Nic Zing.
Cain F - 5 x 50 the Fuerte version of the Cain, this stick is the fullest flavored, fullest bodied and strongest of the Cain line of "all Ligero" cigars (actually about 82% in the F line). The real difference is that the F has 32% Esteli Ligero as compared to 25% in the regular Cain line, and the proportions of Jalapa and Condega Ligero are slightly smaller. The Esteli Ligero is the strongest of the 3, thus this blend gets the Fuerte rating! Although the strength and flavors are kicked up a notch, I find this cigar has just a bit of a smoother edge to it. Sporting a beautiful dark Habano wrapper that Oliva has become so famous for producing, the cigar is otherwise naked - no band. Available up until now as an "add-on" in boxes of 5 cigars when the regular Cain cigars were purchased by the box, I see this joining the regular release line-up soon.
What else have you been smokin' Bob? -
Rocky Patel Puro Cubano- Habano Wrapper, The long-filler blend consists of Cuban-seed tobaccos grown in Esteli, Nicaragua and the famed Cibao Valley of the Dominican Republic. Bob rants about what it must take to create a bad cigar.
5 Vegas Relic - Relic has been three years in the making. 100% Dominican, Relic is a Corojo wrapper and a filler that is a blend of Dominican-grown long-leaf ligeros combined with a single leaf of 12-year-old Dominican tobacco
