Cigar of the Week - Sabor Cubano Gran Torpedo – Another creation from Luis Sanchez, the Sabor Cubano line was released in 1997 and utilizes a naturally fermented, 5 year aged maduro wrapper from Brazil. The binder is from Ecuador and the fillers are Dominican and Nicaraguan. To round out the size selection this month, we have chosen a 7” x 54 ring gauge Torpedo format to highlight the medium-full bodied, full flavored blend. We find the aromas from this cigar are very uniqe – bright, clean and crisp – not unlike many fresh rolled cigars, yet the smoke delivers a well matured experience.  We’ll let you decide if “Sabor Cubano” meaning “Cuban Taste”, is appropriately named. Packaged in gorgeous dress boxes of 20 cigars, the visual impact matches the flavor delivery!
