Strong sentiments and I must say I also find the 107 to be an incredible cigar. We will be reviewing the cigar on May 14, well after its release but that is to ensure the hype has died down and we can get an accurate read on the cigars. I have been smoking a few and they are a tremendous change in flavor profile that I think is very different from anything else I smoke.

I don't know how many have had the opportunity to have a La Aurora 107 (official date for the 107 promotion is Friday April 30 -- I strongly suggest visiting your local retailer on that date) but I have been calling this out: this is an industry game changer. I cannot summon the superlatives necessary for everything about this cigar. It is rich, a hint of spice, beautifully constructed. I've heard comparisons to the best of the Don Carlos lines, to a Don Carlos crossbred with VSG... I tend to think of it as a bulked up Spitfire, but it is very unique. If you smoke La Auroras on a somewhat regular basis, you won't necessarily be surprised -- it is right in the La Aurora wheelhouse -- but you WILL be amazed. Of new entries this year, nothing touches it.
And MSRP will drift from $6-9, depending on vitola, state taxes, etc. The robusto will be under $8 in almost any market. If we're considering price point, it is fair to say that nothing's going to touch this. Even without such considerations, the 107 should make all top 10 lists this year. In other words, !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think that states it plainly.
