My coolidor project
Wednesday, May 5, 2010 at 7:10AM Just a quick post about my office coolidor. My wife has never been real happy with a cooler in the room, its just not furniture. So I have undertaken creating a cabinet to hide the coolidor. Here are pictures of the current situation and the state of the new cabinet. I will post more on this project very soon.

sweet workshop
The workshop changes depending on which distraction errrr project I am working on. Right now it is pretty dedicated to the cabinet work. Fortunately, the photo is small enough that you can't make out the vast amount of chaos in the background.
ahh but chaos can be comforting
Nice looking woodwork there Bob!
Yikes my desktop humidor is fullI So I've been studying the Internet on how to build a Coolidor, in order to make room for all my cigars still in the holding pattern in humidipaks. One question comes to mind , is it really necessary to line the Coolidor with Spanish cedar in order to emulate a traditional humidor, or is it just beneficial to have the cedar? I suppose the cedar helps stabilize the humidity? Or does the cedar just look really cool and boost the MF(Mojo Factor)? It's hard to find cedar here in Brazil, but they have lots of other woods that might work just as well I suppose.
