2010 Cigar Enthusiast's Resolutions
Thursday, December 31, 2009 at 6:17AM Cigar Enthusiasts New Years Resolutions
As a registered Cigar Enthusiast, self-ordained Keeper of the Vitola and full time curmudgeon, I, Bob McDuffee do hereby resolve:
- To quickly renew my membership in Cigar Rights of America or if not a member, to join.
- To experience cigars that I may have passed up as 'not my style' in sizes that I may have considered 'not my style'.
- To treat every cigar with the respect it deserves, except the really awful ones of course.
- To stop saying body when I mean some subjective sense of the weight and mouth filling characteristics of smoke.
- To consistently use the term body when referring to the complete sensory experience of a cigar as a means to describe the fullness of flavor, the strength of flavor, strength of aroma and quantity of smoke.
- To never, ever smoke a flavored cigar. Since this one violates #2 above, I may have to reconsider.
- To always carry a cigar in my pocket, to wear my Tobacco University pin with pride and to make certain that everyone around me knows I am a cigar smoker.
- To provide to at least one other cigar enthusiast a unique cigar that they may not otherwise try.
- To never allow myself to consider that I may not have time for the relaxation and enjoyment of a fine premium cigar.
- To faithfully listen to all episodes of DogWatch Cigar Radio and Cigars One to One while reading the amusing Arzt of the Cigar, Cigar Curmudgeon and Wrapper Chatter.
- To remember that cigar enthusiasts are people too and to remind my friends, neighbors and family of that often forgotten fact on every possible occasion.

I resolve to smoke more cigars, and share more cigars with my friends. I already listen to every episode and have recently joined the CRA.
Happy New Year!
